Nope, she's not the new Bachelorette. But she was given this rose. By a boy. One the last day. Daddy's not pleased. |
The "Before & After" shots blow my mind. Sydney was a baby on the first day! |
I have no idea who that girl on the left was. Can't be my Kylee. Can you say growing pains? She may have been mad about the photo on the last day, but I'm so glad I have the comparison! |
We had an after-school milkshake date with your cousins. |
What's cuter than kids eating milkshakes with silly hats? |
Maybe this. |
Rockin' the big girl undies! |
Playing in the rain. |
On-Stage Dress Rehearsal, Take 1 |
The rain was coming down, but you both needed to blow off a little steam. |
So much rain that week. |
You deserved a little play time. |
On-Stage Dress Rehearsal, Take 2 |
Sister adoration. |
Our usual posing spot. |
Finally, something resembling sun! |
The adoration is mutual. |
Happy for now. |
Not a single happy picture of Sydney from before her evening performance. It was a long day. |
So proud. |
Such a patient girl. So much sitting and waiting this week. |
Before the Sunday show. Sydney's smile reappeared. |
It's a wrap. |
Ready for a nap. |
Oh my gosh, where do I begin?
ReplyDeleteThe rose?! wow! what did Syd think of it? Definitely won't be the last time! And I love the photo of Finn in the red shorts and navy shirt- so nautical and her belly is so edible there. Sydney is amazingly gorgeous (inside and out) and that close up of her Sunday smile is AMAZING. GORGEOUS. I can see her beautiful spirit. Sending love from Texas!
Thankfully, Syd was pretty indifferent to the rose. But I thought maybe he brought one for everyone...nope, just her. Thank you so much for all of the love for my girls, Ang. I love that recitals give Sydney a chance to shine. I'm just glad she decided to be happy on Sunday. Such a sweet, yet moody, little thing!
DeleteI forgot to mention anything about Finn and potty training, so proud of her! It can be so frustrating, which you now know x4, but I know she'll get the hang of it! YAY Finn! Cheering you on from TX!
ReplyDeleteFrustrating is right. I mostly get frustrated that the conditions for potty training aren't always perfect. Like at the recital, Finn asked twice to use the potty. But when we got in there, the hand dryer was so loud (and going off every 5 seconds) she just freaked and wouldn't go. It's so hard to be consistent! But, all in all, she's doing an amazing job.
DeleteLoving your blog naomi!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Deetta! I haven't been able to log into it lately, so I apologize for the delay in responding (and the lack of any new posts).
